POPULAR QUESTIONS

Whats different in a standard service versus a full service?

A standard service typically includes draining and replacing the engine oil and oil filter, checking and topping up all under-hood fluids (coolant, brake fluid, washer fluid), inspecting belts and hoses, checking tire pressure and tread, and doing a basic safety check of lights and brakes. A full (or major) service includes all of the above, plus replacing the engine air filter and cabin filter, checking or replacing spark plugs, and performing a comprehensive inspection of the suspension, steering, and exhaust systems.

The timeline can vary based on your specific vehicle and driving habits, but a widely accepted rule of thumb is every 6 months or 10,000 km (whichever comes first) for a standard service. However, modern vehicles with synthetic oil often have longer intervals (e.g., 12 months or 15,000 km). You should always check your owner’s manual for the manufacturer’s exact recommended maintenance schedule.

No, it will not. By law, you are not required to take your car back to the dealership to keep your manufacturer’s warranty valid. As long as the independent shop is qualified, performs the scheduled maintenance strictly according to the manufacturer’s logbook specifications, and uses OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or equivalent high-quality parts and fluids, your warranty remains fully intact.

A standard routine service usually takes about 1 to 2 hours, while a major service might take a half-day.

During a service, our technician performs a multi-point vehicle health check. If we discover any safety issues or preventative maintenance needs—like worn brake pads, a failing battery, or a fluid leak—we will document it and call you immediately. We will never proceed with any extra repairs or charge you additional fees without your explicit approval first.
